As our Key Account Manager, you will be on the front line providing packaging solutions to our valued customers and prospects, offering the wide array Golden West provides as a total solution manufacturer. In our inclusive team environment, you will manage existing accounts, identify new prospects, collaborate with team members on providing creative and innovative solutions to the market. cultivate customer relationships leveraging our customer-first approach, prospecting and providing solutions for new customers, partnering with management to complete budget planning, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution.
You will be hybrid, based in Northern California and responsible for outside business-to-business (B2B) sales, managing the entire sales cycle, gaining new market share, and growing existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Examine and evaluate a customer's packaging needs and then offer recommendations to fulfill those needs while striving to meet the directives established by the business.
- Lead expansion of Share of Wallet (SOW) in existing portfolio. Build relationships with the existing clients to grow the business with priority strategic accounts by developing and successfully implementing current account plans with focus on SOW.
- Effectively utilize our industry expert team members as sales resources to support the requirements of tactical, strategic and alliance accounts for the assigned segment.
- Be a true sales professional, conduct quality sales calls, follow up with the potential sales lead. Identify and implement Value Propositions with priority potential leads through knowledge and application of GWPG’s corporate/business capabilities and resources.
- Deliver value to our target accounts by overseeing the development and implementation of market-driven strategies.
- Utilize our user-friendly CRM system to organize and manage your book of business and prospects.
- Organize and lead cross-functional meetings/teams at customers to collaborate on solutions, as well as internal GWPG teams as needed to manage and develop a customer account.
- Be the liaison between our customer and Golden West Packaging, responsible for the total relationship between the customer and GWPG – working with internal management, design, production, customer service and suppliers, to ensure a common high level of professionalism and commitment to the customer. Our goal is to be a trusted resource for our customers, an extension of their business and help them succeed.

The Role You’ll Play
We are looking for a Workers Compensation and Leave of Absence Expert as our People Operations Partner in our City of Industry, CA location. You will work closely with the People Team and other functional leaders across the organization to lead the efforts in supporting People Operations initiatives and lead all people team’s compliance efforts across the organization. This role reports into our Sr. Director of People Operations and manages people programs by providing operational services, including employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits administration, records management, safety and health, compliance, and leave of absence administration, including workers’ compensation /return to work program.
What you’ll do:
- Manage workers compensation policies, processes, procedures and claims. Creates and implements return to work programs, manages claim dollars and ensures proper reporting and recordkeeping are in place at all times.
- Design and administer leaves of absence and workplace accommodations programs and processes. Administers leave of absence programs and serves as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for leave administration (e.g. FMLA, ADA, and Workers Compensation). Leads Worker Compensation claim management and return to work programs.
- Administer compensation projects including maintenance of job architecture, pay transparency compliance, salary benchmarking, and bonus plan accruals. Facilitate compensation administration, including documentation for benchmarks, implement and manage updates Paycom, and reporting.
- Own the annual performance review process lifecycle; including preparation, launch, training, communication, and reporting post process completion.
- Manage Total Rewards programs (benefits, perks, compensation.) Work with People Senior Leadership team on design, adoption, and implementation of programs. Support talent rewards management including benefit benchmarks, automation projects, vendor selection, and relationship management.
- Identify opportunities to improve policies and propose solutions to correct inconsistent policies and gaps.
- Conduct People Analytics on applicant, employee, and contractor demographics. Report data and trends monthly. Provide HR reports for monthly finance and budget management and as needed
- Key involvement in the employee data audit process including validation of data for benefits & payroll. Including understanding of the downstream impacts of HR data on these areas.
- Lead all People Team Compliance initiatives, including completing required filings (EEO, 1095-C, CA Pay Data Transparency, etc.), complete audits.
- Projects as assigned to continue to streamline internal processes or drive People & Culture strategies and workflows.

The Role You’ll Play
Reporting to the VP of Accounting, the Accounting Services Director will be responsible for leading and developing accounting operations including the following services: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Payroll Audit, and Risk Management. This position plays a critical role in assuring the delivery of accurate, audit ready, and timely processing within a high level of control. This position develops the accounting operations team, oversees ERP systems and controls, partners with other business functions, and leads corporate accounting transformation initiatives to deliver best in class results. Develops, implements, measures, and maintains accounting practices, policies, controls, and procedures. Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, identifying, and measuring KPIs, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-centric services to drive a culture of quality, proactivity, productivity, and reliability.

What You’ll Do
· Manages accounting services, including full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processing for general ledger coding and posting in synchronization with budgets; oversee the financial close and consolidation process to ensure timely and accurate preparation and recording of financial transactions, account reconciliation and schedules for management reporting; leads the monthly close processes including consolidation, monitoring close status and issue resolution; partner closely with tax team to provide various accounting support on tax related activities; work with external auditors during quarterly, interim, and annual audits. Works closely with Corporate Accounting Manager on various tasks.
· Identify/develop relevant set of KPIs to benchmark team performance against (AP, AR, Cash Management, Payroll Audit & Risk) and manage/report and improve upon; identify and establish best practice controls and processes; implements and enables a culture of continuous improvement; identify automation opportunities while proactively engaging and collaborating with accounting team to build from concept to execution various scalable and transformational processes.
· Works closely with VP of Accounting to identify risks and develop strategies to prevent potential harmful activities or practices with assets and resources, take appropriate action to mitigate risk, record, and document data, work closely with insurance carriers/brokers to oversee/manage commercial lines of coverage.
· Responsible for co-leading with the corporate account manager to oversee the corporate ERP system to include but not limited to GL master data, maintenance of chart of accounts, GL system roles, external systems interface to GL and upload processes; oversees accounting system and process architecture including new developments and on-going maintenance for harmonization across GWPG.
· Lead business validation process for all aspects of Accounting Services; identify and apply appropriate controls; produce accurate and timely consolidation of accounting results in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring compliance to controls (e.g., SOX).
· Mentor, guide, and motivate team of accounting professionals to grow their career, including development of technical, reporting and presentation skills.

PURPOSE:
Perform all tasks necessary to complete daily design tasks with full accountability in the most efficient and effective manner within the permanent display department. Work consists of routine design tasks, 3D modeling and drafting, estimating, prototype management and handling projects from start to completion.
Essential Responsibilities:
Enforce and ensure that the health and safety protocols are always adhered to at all times.

Hands-On knowledge and experience within the POP display or exhibit industry is necessary.
Highly refined SolidWorks experience and CAD speed are essential.
Excellent visualization skills in 2D and 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
Maintain all design/engineering tools and equipment for proper operation and ensure safety.
Wood, metal, and plastic design knowledge is necessary.
Accurate approval, timely completion of prototypes and production packets.
Responsibility for high-quality designs and prototypes.
Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate figures, measurements, percentages, and totals.
